I’ve been going to a chiropractor for 9 weeks now, going twice a week. I started out with severe neck and shoulder pain. The pain has decreased drastically, but still have some pain. My mid back is extremely tight and not adjusting when I go. My dr. says neck and shoulder pain take longer to fix, but how long will I continue to have pain?
Ooops, I just read that says 9 weeks, I meant to type 3 weeks.

Is this ultrasound addicting? Can some people get that addicted to it even if they have less pain? Someone who had their left subscapula hurting them all the time without an injury and this person always wanted the ultrasound all the time. Do you think the physical therapists has the right to cut off the ultrasound completely? Please help.

I’ve begun wakeboarding, which takes massive upper body strength. I overdid it the other day, and now my arms are so sore I can barely turn my steering wheel. (Upper and forearms) I’m supposed to go out tomorrow morning and was wondering if there is a way to speed up the healing process. Soaking in warm salt water, aspirin, anything like that? I have no idea. I’m so out of shape! Even my fingers are sore!

I am currently attending school to become a massage therapist, but I am not sure if I really want to do it? I like it, but I am not that into it. Should I tough it out or drop out? Does anybody have any advice for me?
I should have prefaced the question by saying that I have a full time job and just started the mt program to have something to fall back on if I get tired of my ‘career’. I am currently only in the 1st month of the program so I am not very far into it yet.

The only essential oil I have right now is sweet orange. What would go well with that and what do I need to do?

I’m trying to decide between 2 classes being offered locally: Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Yoga. The course descriptions make Hatha sounds a bit more kinetic, but since I’m new to all this I really don’t know which is best. My goal is to reduce stress and muscle tension.
By the way, I am NOT looking to lose weight.

I am looking to buy a hot stone massage kit and was wondering what size to buy. The sets seem to come with either 38 stones (small) or 52 (Large) as a mobile therapist what would be the best size kit to get? The heaters are also different sizes from 6 quart to 18 quart.
I am also looking for somewhere where I can complete the course for a reasonable price in the London area as I want to be officially qualified for insurance purposes…any ideas?
Many Thanks

When you go to a registered massage therapist, do you need to tip them along with their fee? I know you do for pedicures, waxing, and haircuts, but I’m assuming you don’t for massage therapists and physio therapists. Anybody know for sure?

Hi, I want to get a surprise massage for my mom at Massage Envy. She works 9to5, and is very stressed when she gets home. Thankfully, she doesn’t work weekends, ever. I was wondering what would be the best type of calming, stress reducing, idk, joint pain type of massage out there for her? Price is not an issue.
