Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral therapy involves lying on a table and meditating. You focus on finding your ‘liquid body’ and if you find it and are very relaxed, you actually feel like your body is moving up and down, like on an ocean.
I was in a class with other people who were learning to do it, and they would always ‘see’ colors.
I was not so visually oriented, I just felt sensations like heat, wind, pressure or other things.
One time, though, I saw a purple circle with some blue in the middle and then there were flashes of green lightning.

What do you think these colors mean? I posed under the religious/spirituality section, because I’m hoping someone can tell me that it has a spiritual connotation.

I’m a massage therapist, but I tend to do more cranio-sacral/energy healing, myofascial release, some rolfing techniques, passive stretching. I work on people sometimes fully clothed or sometimes they are draped…..doesn’t matter. Question is: Any advice on what to call this or how to market this other than massage? When I tell people I do massage, they tend to think of spa or salon type massage with lotion and pampering. I have my own style….just healing work…intuitive, sometimes joking and talking during the session, sometimes quiet, just carefree. I don’t fit the mold of "massage therapist", but need a way to define my practice before I start marketing on a serious level. Muchas gracias

I really want to be a chiropractor and have more advantage than 99% of my classmates: #1) I dont have any student loans-so I can pay for school in cash–my dad is paying for everything, #2) I have been career tested over and over again and chiropractic seems to be the top choice always (along with shadowing chiropractors–I love it and it just feels right , and #3) I plan on getting certified in all these therapies while I am in school and a year after graduation:

Tomorrow in class, we will do a demonstration of Bio-Dynamic CST and I was thinking that it would be good to hear of a wide variety of experiences that I could bring to the table and discuss tomorrow.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m not surprised. This type of therapy occupies a small margin of all that is to be offered in the health care field.

looking for a therapist that doesthe above they must be a hands on therapist—and have lots of letters after their name

I am thinking of trying it as I have tremendous stress in my jaw as a result of ten plus years with bulimia. Add to that teeth clenching. I am wondering what were your experiences with this treatment?

It has been very effective for me mentally, physically and spiritually but my body now is extremely sensitive to drugs and I’m still sick. Will this phase pass?

Did it do anything for you? How much did it cost and how long did it take?

Has it helped you? Do you believe in it? I am intrigued by it and am thinking this could be the way to go to source out the causes of some of my bizarre ailments…such as hayfever even!
