okay, so I’m a senior in highschool already thinking about going to Everest, to become a Massage Therapist. Is there anyone now who is a Massage Therapist? or who is going to school to persue this career? Tell me a little about how it makes you feel as a person, your interests in it, and why you chose it.

I’ve been accepted to a massage school 30 minutes from where I live and was wondering, what kind or jobs will I be able to get and how much to massage therapists typically make?

I know it depends on the state you live in, since some states require you to be licensed.

I am looking into nursing schools in WA state, an there are so many types of nurses. What is the difference? Do they have different duties an make different amounts of money? What is the best kind of school? I am a massage therapist now an really want to go into nursing. Please if you have any info that would be great!

I’m in school for massage therapy and up until now I have been using the lotions, oils, gels, etc that they have provided for us at the school. I need to get some of my own but there are so many brands out there! Are there any massage therapists out there that could recommend a good brand? I have been thinking about trying Lotus Touch, or Pro Touch. Any thoughts???

shes been my good friend for about 2 years, but i have no idea what to get her. she is sorta goth, sorta punk. shes not into bath stuff, jewellery, or lava lamps. shes also not really a gamer or a book worm.

So I am 21, and a few months ago i applied to a few airlines because I really wanted to be a flight attendant. But, I continued to hear how airlines aren’t hiring..and I wanted to really start doing something for my life! So I recently registered for a holistic healing massage therapy school. I was pretty exciting about it until i got a phone call from an airline saying they were interested in hiring me…go figure! The holistic school has already been paid for though and I’m not really sure what I should do now! So in general, which career path do you think would be better off in the end?!

Im currently going to school to become a massage therapist and I have to write 3 pathology papers by tomorrow! Seriously Im so lost, I have never written one before. I know its last minute….. lol But its for extra credit. Im so lost right now. someone please help me.

I was thinking about becoming a massage therapist. I want to help people in a natural way, and massage is one of those ways. It seems to me that it’s becoming more and more popular.

I enjoy giving massages to my friends and such. And I don’t care how much money they make, my fiance is going to school to become a clinical psychologist so I figure between the two of us we can make enough money to support us and a family =]

Also, I know that massage therapists can work on their own time without an employer and this would be a great bonus, seeing as how I could work around the schedule of my family and such.

Please give me all the info you can on massage therapy!

I am graduating from Massage Therapy school next month and I want to start looking for a job now. But I don’t know where to start. Are Spa’s looking for massage therapist that are certified right now or will they not mind that I am almost done? How much do you make at a spa as a massage therapist? Would you prefer working at a Spa or a Chiropractor’s office? Anything you know I should know about a Spa would be a big help for me. Thanks.

I never missed a day of work and it was discussed that I would get one after a year. Well a year has past and no sign of a raise. I never see my boss because our hours are opposite. I really think I deserve a raise. I’m a great masssage therapist. I have 10 years experience. They just hired a new massage therapist. She’s right out of school and she’s getting paid the same as me. How should I ask for what I deserve?

I am a massage therapist working for low pay but with great co-workers/atmosphere . The drive is far and I am struggling to pay off my current tuition. I am being offered a job that pays about -5 more but without tips (though my tips are low anyways) This job would require that I work over double the hours (causing me to not be able to attend as much school, which means I would graduate later) and I would work doing very hard massages with only 3 minutes in between each massage to rest. Then again my other job I only get about 7 minutes inbetween, sometimes much less. This new job offer is about 5 minutes away from my house. Personally I don’t really want to work doing massage for companies but being a girl and not wanting to travel to strangers houses or have them at mine, I can’t work from home. I want to get a job doing make-up (I’m an esthetic student) but it’s hard to do, even getting a job at a cosmetics counter is hard without sales experience. All I have is massage. Whattodo?
