I recently took my first yoga class. It was very tiring and I was much sorer the next day than when I do weight training. I was first told that you could do weight training three days a week and then yoga in between. I’m not so sure about this though since I was so sore after the yoga. Plus it was just a regular class, not ashtanga or anything. I"m wondering if I can leave out the weight training and get fit just doing yoga.

I am trying to get some muscle or loose some wait in my thighs and butt. And, i have heard yoga is good for what i want to do. Does anyone know any specific techniques with easy directions. Or if its easier, links? Thank you!

I just started ashtanga yoga a couple of weeks ago. I´m not having trouble with barely any poses but i have a curiousity.
I´m doing the primary series right now. When you practice yoga is it necesary to do a series to get the benefit of it of can you do random poses?

Well i am a teen and i feel really stresses bout the normall stuff: guys, grades, PMS, and latly my home life has been kinda stressed too. I wana do somthing to help me not have that much stress and i have heard that yoga helps. Doea yoga rly help??? If it does can u tell me how to do it???? i rly have no clue and i dont want to go anywhere to do it like in a class or anyhting i just want to do it at home…also i am very busy thats another thing that makes me stressd so it needs to be in the 30 min range or less. Also if yago dosnt work then what else could i do????? do u know any good yago websites or somthin???? i am rly confused bout this so cam u plz help! thanks!

Does yoga lengthen your muscles and make you less bulky? I know pilates does, but I’m wondering if yoga has the same effect……
