I been having severe shoulder pain and I’m suppose to get my period but, it hasn’t come. I been stress so maybe that’s why its delayed but, I been having shoulder pain for 7 days. Could it be because I’ve been stress or is it something else. Usually when I’m stress I get my period early or just a few days late. I never experience this before.

I worked at massage envy for a little over a week, when i originally was offered the job and signed the paperwork i dont remember it saying anything about not paying for training hours, but a few days into my training my boss informed me that they do not pay for training hours until the training is completed and you start on the salesfloor…..is this illegal?
if anybody knows where to find the laws on this can you post a link please..thanks

What should i do about my shoulder pain?

My shoulder has be hurting for about a week. It’s not an intense pain but it goes back and forth between a dull pain and just feeling really sore. I go to the gym 6 days a week and i decided to stay off it for a few days. It felt pretty much better after a few days so i went back to doing chest and arm workouts but the first day i went back my shoulder started hurting again just as much as it had before. I’ve been using icy-hot and stretching it. Should i just stay off it longer?

will a sports massage help?

I’m 17 years old and i’m a dancer. Since i was 14 i’ve had a bad lower back. It’s always pretty achy but i can put up with it then every so often it has a spasm and i can’t do anything properly for a few days.
Recently i hurt it in a different place, its low just above my bottom and feels tight and painful and sore. I can’t sit down because it hurts too much and the only time it eases down a bit is when im lying down. Tablets don’t work, heat patches dont work, ice doesn’t work.
I’m wondering would a sports massage help?

I’m a 23 year old male. For at least 2 maybe even 3 years I’ve had a small lump in my neck muscle just below the cranium. I’ve had it checked out by two different doctors who just think its tension in the muscle, because its mobile and goes away when i tense my muscle. Anyway, now near the same area, right behind my ear, I get a dull burning sensation that comes and goes every few minutes for the past few days. Anyone know how to relieve this? Thanks in advance.

Pectoral strain with a pinched nerve?

I strained my right pectoral a couple days after pinching a nerve in the right back side of my neck. It’s painful, but not too bad. How long should I wait before I go back to my pushup routine. The pain isn’t so bad I can’t do them, but is there. So, should I just stop my pushups for a few days or until my pain is gone to avoid making it worse?

carpel tunnel surgery and tennis elbow surgery?

I am going for a nerve conduction test in a few days. I was wandering if anyone had a personal experience that you can share with me. Is it painful? How long does it take?
Also if i need the surgery, how long will I be out of work? I am a nicu nurse and i use my hands for everything i do! thanks

My mom and dad both had the pain/stiffness. Then my aunt and uncle came down with it. A few days ago I had it and still do. Today my daughter is complaining of her neck hurting.
Thanks but I know its not meningitis because that is the only symptom anyone has had. I just think its odd that we would all have neck strains at the same time. So, I figured it had to be something contagious.
I am bringing her to the doctor in the morning. I am pretty sure that all my kids have had the vaccines for meningitis. They are all updated on their shots and are from ages 2-12

Hello All!

I am 28 yr old Computer Programmer. I was in an accident way back when I was around 13. A scooter hit me from back on the left side, as I was playing near my home. The pain was very intense. My parents weren’t home, so no body was there to give me immediate attention. I was ok in few minutes as I started to feel better. I told my parents later, but I felt normal after that day.

The pain came back around October (for few days) for couple years till I was 15/16 yr old, that made me think that the accident occurred around October initially.

Now after that I was perfectly normal, never heard of any back pain until last week, when at the gym I did back exercise. That might have resurrected my back pain. And its weird its again in October.

I am also confused, whether it was the exercise or my mattress/bed.

But the pain is faint, its not intense.

I am thinking of going for a CT scan or whatever scan that will see my back and show me whats goin on there…,

Can anybody give me their honest expert opinion/remedy/suggestion/comments/thoughts!

Thanks

How to cure a pinched nerve in my jaw?

I know that its supposed to be cured within a few days or weeks but is there any way I can speed up the process?

I woke up a few days ago with mild pain on the right side of my neck and stiffness. It started moving down my back and intensifying. I can barely move now without pain, and would like to see a doctor about this.

My question is, what kind of doctor should I go to? I have insurance but don’t know if I need to go to a general doctor first or a chiropractor or….I dunno. Could someone help me out?

Two weeks ago, i started playing tennis with my friends in our neighborhood park. i had never played before. At first we were just fooling around, but after finding out that i liked tennis, i started getting a bit more serious. I youtubed videos about forehands and the such and saw my school coach for 1 day to ask about the form on a forehand. (he lives in my neighborhood.) The next day, with my friends, I started ripping balls, trying out the forehand. (each of these days btw, we were playing for around 1.5 hrs) That night, my hand started to hurt big time. The next day the pain was gone, but would come back whenever i shook somebody’s hand or tryed to grip something. A few days later, i thought it was better so I tried to play again. The pain came back, along with a pain going down my first finger, and stretching to my elbow. Now whenever I make the forehand follow through motion, even without a racket, I feel a slight discomfort at my elbow, and handshaking still hurts, but very little. Ive found that the pain can also be created by pulling up on my first knuckle while holding the second down, or by pressing on a point on my first knuckle bone about an inch higher than my wrist. (metacarpal?) Its been a week and a half since I last played tennis, but just by doing these things I can still feel pain. Im on vacation now so I cant see a doctor (im in india), but can anyone tell me what this pain is or if it is tennis elbow? I hear that tennis elbow comes from repetitive straining, but I have really only been playing tennis for 2 or 3 days and doing a proper forehand for 1 day. My backhand does not hurt at all, and it hurts much more if I actually hit a ball while doing the forehand motion. Im 15 btw. Sorry for all this info, but I really need to be sure if this is serious or not because I want to try out for my HS team come spring.
thanks, and i realize my mistake, but right now i need info on what i did to my hand, whether I pulled a muscle or what.

I was doing yard work a few days ago and I did something to my neck. Every night I go to bed the next morning it seems to be getting worse. I can’t turn my neck or head to the right cause it throbs then pain gets so bad it shoots up to my head and gives me a migraine. I also can’t bend down or my neck just throbs even worse and it feels like my head is going to explode. I don’t have a doctor at the moment.

Do massages from massage therapists actually work?

I have gone to this massage therapist now for four weeks and it seems like the pain in my back is actually getting worse. I have had for a couple of years now a gnawing, deep aching pain in my shoulder blade (probably from stress/carrying school books on my right side for so many years). She says there are no knots in my back and calls them "tight muscles". Anyway, since I have gone to see her, they hurt so much more! Even my lower back, where I never had pain, was aching so bad a few days after she did some really deep work on it. Is this normal? If so, when would I expect this pain to subside and feel results?

Can a pinched nerve cause body-wide pain?

Long story short: Sat in a VERY tiny theater seat a few weeks ago, and a few days later helped carry an exercise bike upstairs. I now have pain that comes and goes between my legs, hips, back (upper and lower), jaw, and head. I think I may have pinched a nerve or something. Is all this pain possible from a pinched nerve? I’m going to the doctor this week; just want to know what to expect. Ouch.
