What could be causing my shoulder pain?

For months I have been experiencing slowly worsening pain in my right shoulder. It started with a numb burning feeling under my shoulder blade and has developed into a sharp pain that radiates down my tricep and makes my surrounding shoulder muscles sore. I do have health insurance that will start soon, but wondered in the meantime if anyone had experienced something that sounds like this, and what it turned out to be.

Can I fix my torn ligament/tendon after a long time?

Hello everyone. I hurt myself on a motorcycle about 4 years ago but didn’t go to a doctor because I had no insurance and it didn’t hurt much. However, lately it hurts me a little, especially after benching in the gym. It is very bearable but annoying. When I tense my muscle it feels like something in my shoulder is jumping into place. Is it possible to fix whatever is torn? If its either ligament or tendon?
Thanks in advance.

I loveee getting massages. With the new healthcare law I wonder if people in the States will get to take advantage of all those free massages that come with health insurance. What a great way to relax and do good things for you mind, body and soul…. Some insurance companies may require a doct’s note first ( good for a year ) but the majority of doctors know the value of massage and will give you note recommending you get massage treatments.

What's wrong with my knee?

About three weeks ago I ran the 100m hurdles at a track meet after not having run them for three years and only practicing the day before. Since then my knee has been hurting, and our health insurance currently doesn’t cover physical therapy. Whenever I squat down or torque my knee in any way there’s a sharp pain that seems to surround the muscles of my knee cap. I’m a sprinter and it’s been giving me some issues during meets, but it usually goes away with adrenaline. Does anyone know what’s wrong or what I can do to help it? (I’ve been using kinesio tape but it usually just ends up coming off by the end of my workouts.)

My state requires that I have massage insurance.
What are some of the benefits I should seek when looking into purchasing the insurance?

Also, should I worry about the Personal / Advertising Injury coverage? because i’ve noticed that some of the companies do not have that available in their plan.

Thank you all in advance. Really appreciate the help.

Do massage therapists really make that much?

I have a friend who wants to become a massage therapist and she thinks she will be making doctor’s money off it. I mean, I am no professional but I looked up the income of massage therapists on various sites and most of them said MT make around 30k a year. I know they have a possibility to make 0 per hour BUT if they work for a salon don’t they only get to keep around 50%-75% of that? Plus I heard they don’t get insurance and most MT only work part time because the work is so physically demanding. Also, if they work as a private business isn’t uncle sam going to take a big chunk out of their income with taxes(not including supplies)? And aren’t they going to lose a lot of money on supplies? I mean, I could be wrong and MT can make "good" money (yet still not Doctor’s status) but she makes it out to be like she’s going to be so rich and I just don’t think that is true. I have never heard of a MT making anywhere near 200k (which is like a low estimate of a doctor’s first year income).

I really think she is being arrogant and hasn’t done the proper research on all the money taken out of that (possible) 0 per hour. How much do MT really make annually?

License Suspended?

I recently had my license suspended because of the new law for people under 21. I got two tickets in a year about 9 months apart from one another (going to fast for conditions and a speeding ticket). There’s a new law in Illinois saying that your license now gets suspended if you have two tickets in a year…what would be your prediction that my insurance would go up.

I’m 20 years old, female, with a good grades discount.
p.s. I only have liability on my car.

Terrible neck pain, should I go to the hospital?

When I woke up this morning my neck hurt, but its only when I hold my head up straight or tilt it to the left. When I have it tilted to the right there is no problem. Its seems like its getting worse, its really really painful and its a stabbing pain. Does anybody know what this could be and if it will go away on its own. I don’t have insurance so I don’t want to go to the hospital if I don’t have to.

If I don’t have health insurance, should I still see a doctor if I think I have a pinched sciatic nerve? By the way im a 24 y.o. male

I’ve had pain in my elbow for two weeks. It hurts to even pick up a coffee cup. The bone also hurts to the touch. I was telling a friend about it and she told me it sounded like tennis elbow. I looked it up and the symptoms match up. It says it’s caused by repetitive motion. I don’t do any repetitive motion for any length of time. The day it started hurting I moved a love seat and I also was holding up my printer to slide a board under it to keep it from scratching a shelf it was sitting on. The shelf was close to the floor and I was holding the all the printer weight with it sitting on top of my hand. Maybe that was the cause. But why the pain on the bone? I don’t have insurance so I don’t want to go to the doctor just so he can tell me to rest it. I can do that free. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be and what I can do about it.
It doesn’t really affect normal activity other than I can’t lift weights right now. I know it wasn’t caused by weightlifting though.

How much does a colon hydrotherapy session cost? ?

I am interested in trying this, I do not have insurance and was curious how much the average cost is for a session. Has anyone ever seen any results in weight loss?
