I had a spinal tap to diaganose viral meningitous 9 days ago. The proceedure it’s self was not that painful. The Dr. heavily medicated me just before the procedure knowing I was absoluletly terrified do to a "horrific epidural experience" during childbirth. I had the expected headache, but was on high does of pain killers anyway for the meningitous. Now that I have recovered from my severe neck pain and headache, I am left with a very sore low back and ackey legs. I am walking at a snails pace. My Dr told me not to take any asprin or motrin for inflamation due to the higher risk of Reye Syndrome that could develope after a bad viral infection when taking those types of medications. This is all across my very low back, like a wide stip going from hip to hip. Has anyone else
experienced low back pain after a spinal tap? How long does this last?

Aching leg after sports massage?

On Wednesday afternoon I had a sports massage in my lower legs to combat cramping and tightness I was experiencing during and after running.
This went well, she mentioned my left leg was overall tight and my right leg was tight on my lower inside right and the upper part of my lower on the outside.
I have nto taken any exercise, just the usual walking and standing at walk.
The only thing is I have a really annoying dull ache on the outside of my right leg, which I cant seem to make go away. Its like when you have restlesss legs when your in bed and you have to keep moving them to releive the ache, but Im only getting this on the right outside of my leg.

Whats happend, I am desperate to get out running since I have been resting for nearly 3 weeks. :(

Hello: I’m almost 27 weeks pregnant and I was walking yesterday and at night my legs and my butt hurt so much. I was used toi walking and exercising before pregnancy, but maybe I over did it. First I walked like 20 minutes to a store and I then returned. So it was like a 40 minute walk. Then I walked 15 minutes and was exausted so I decided to rest and walk back another 15 minutes. At the end of the day I was very tired. I was also wearing my rain/snow boots because the streets were nasty, full of snow. I wasn’t walking on the snow tough.

Do you think it is normal to get so tired and have a lot of muscular pain?
Yes, I usually wear walking shoes, but since all the streets have snow and water after the snowstorm I had to wear my rain boots.

What exercises can i do with a pinched nerve?

I pinched my ulner nerve in my left elbow. I work out alot and the doctor said i could only do lower body work outs and core. So i could do crunches and legs work outs but is there anything i can do for my upper body without the use of my arm, i wear a brace that prevents bending.

Can you use coffee grounds on your legs with cellulite on them then wrap your body up with plastic wrap? Would this help get rid of cellulite or at least less visible? Thanks!

Judo neck pain after a submission move?

So I was in my judo class last week, and I got my Neck squeezed between the legs of a strong player in my class. Now I have mild pain on the back of my nick, and mild pain in my jaw and slight headache.
I can move and turn my nick in all direction with no problem, it is just this mild discomfort on the back of my nick and my jaw, do you think this is a serious issue?

My friend does not shave her legs or underarms (cultural reasons), and is interested in experiencing a professional massage. Does anyone know or are you a massage therapist, and can you shed some light on this subject? I don’t want her to embarass herself. Thank you!

how is a hot stone body massage performed?

i am going for a body massage. the place i am going to does hot stones. do they typically do stones just on your back or legs, chest, stomach, etc.? i was also wondering how the procedure works exactly – stones just sit on you? or are they used for the actual massaging? and are you much less covered during the procedure?

I am a 28 year old male with quite a lot of thick hair on my chest, legs and arms, and some on my back. I’m wondering if it will be uncomfortable to get a full body massage if I’m fairly hairy?

After multiple surgeries, it is heartbreaking to see him ailing before my very eyes. While he lays on the bed I massage his legs as just the other day he was too weak to walk. He goes in and out while I’m talking to him and it’s very saddening as he was once a very strong man.

I love him and want to do everything I can to help him through this ordeal.

Nutrition tips and therapeutic tips or ANY tips to help him get better would mean the world to me.

Thank you
Also, he is going through chemotherapy (in case that changes any suggestions).
