Has anyone ever been to massage envy? I went yesterday and I bought my boyfriend and I a couples massage I decided to join in their membership program because it would save me a lot of money. After signing up I read more into it and found out it really is not for me and I should spend my money elsewhere. They did not give me a copy of the contract so I was wondering does anyone know their policy for ending contracts?

I’ll be 39 weeks tomorrow; I was 4 cm dilated and 90% effaced at my Thursday appointment and have been having some cramps in my back and lower abdomen (not full-fledged contractions, but maybe the start of them). My sister is giving me a free prenatal massage today. She is a trained and licensed massage therapist (for over 10 years now), but it will actually be my first massage from her, because she’s usually so booked up and I prefer she be able to make money over giving me one for free. Anyway, I think I’ve heard that prenatal massage can send you into labor if you’re on the brink. Just wondering if anyone has found that to be true. I don’t mind if it does or does not, but I was curious.

I’m at a point in my life where i cant go to college. My life’s goal is to end up in college. For now though, I want to make bigger money faster. I just graduated high school a few weeks ago and I’m really interested in learning a trade like say being a barber, or phlebotomy.. What vocational careers are there that I could look into? The thing is I don’t want to live the minimum wage life forever because i work at Mcdonalds and it’s difficult. I’m also really interested in therapeutic massage. Is this a good trade? Will I really have to only take a few months or weeks worth of school or will i end up having to further my education into a degree? This is just a temporary career choice. Please help me? Any career advice is appreciated
And please don’t tell me to go to just go to college.I have certain personal reasons for not being able to go at the moment, but like i said, It’s a goal, and not a dream to end up in college in the next 2 years. P.S the reason i posted this under politics was because idk, i’ve posted this under education but nobody gave a shiit so what the heck, maybe politically interested individuals might help?

Really need some more opnions on this please, thanks sorry so long
What do you think about my guy friend being creative doing his own little foot massage/spa thing? he is very good at foot massage and even knows how to paint toes ive let him do mine before. hes set up everything in a extra room at his place and that would be the spa room and would be like his own little lemonade stand type thing, a foot soak/bath and 25/30 minute foot massage topped off with a pedi, he has the supplies to do them, cuticle stick,etc..
hes a young guy of course keeps things professional not a creeper or gay just loves making people feel good and this could be a neat little sidejob to make a little money during rough economic times esp since girls love foot massages. he has it priced at 5-8$ to start for a good hook, very cheep but good service esp the massage. plus some people dont like paying alot or doing it themselves and would still like to be pampered. Will network/advertise/friend request on myspace/facebook, profile has pics of the little spa setup and pic of him to show who he is of course. So would u maybe book him? thanks..

I hired a contractor to start an acupressure massage clinic business for me, and according to the contract, she was supposed to deliver all of the proper documents for opening an acupressure massage business.
Moreover, she was supposed to supply furniture, a Feng Shui consultant master for the business, towels and decoration for the clinic, but she never delivered any of these services. The worst is she took 3 months of rent beforehand, and she never gave it to my landlord. In fact, she bounced the check to my landlord, and I had to pay double rent for 3 months. I gave her many chances to fix the problem according to the contract agreement before we wanted to termainate her service. We tried to call her more than 100 times over 18 months while, at the same time, our landlord tried to call her. She ignored and ignored again and again. I had 2 mitigations to give her chance before I filed a suit against her. However, the jury in Rockville court belived in her twisted story, and I lost the case for breech the contract because the defendent said we don’t give her enough time to fix the problem. She denied we called her or e-mailed her. I presented all the documents, and she had no proof whatsoever. Her lawyer was very good in twisting the facts so I lost the case becasue of her attorney. What is my consumer rights and where is the justice? The law allowed her to take my 3 months rent and all the money I paid her for buying the supplies? What should I do? Can I appeal the case in the court?
Also, I was not her only victim. Others have been her victims. We need justice.

does it feel relaxing?
does it feel awkward at all cuz the person is so close to your face and looking at you while you’re trying to close your eyes and relax?
i’d really like to get this type of massage cuz its more of a light massage rather than deep massage but i don’t want to spend a lot of money and find out i don’t like it.
so i just want some reviews as to what your experience was like.
oh and when i say "facial massage" i don’t mean like a facial where they put creams and stuff on your face and then wipe it off. i mean someone massaging your face.

I’ve been unemployed for 1 yr and 9 months. I’ve been living off the checks. I’m not really looking for a job right now because there are none, but eventually the money will run out and I will have to work! Im 26, and I don’t have a college education. I went to massage therapy school 7 years ago and never took the state exam, so I don’t remember anything and you need the license to work. So I feel hopeless, I know I brought this upon myself. Any suggestions or advice would be great.

SCHOOL IS TOMORROW. & i asked my grandma for just like 20 bucks to go get supplies. (Binder, paper, pencils) & she’s like NO! Im 13, so i can’t have a job, and babysitting and lawn mowing and crap is outta the question. She’s in a good place with money and stuff, she buys ALOT of things, massage chairs, waffle makers ? Appliances..and whatever else. Yet she can’t give me like 20 bucks.
Parents are out of the question..don’ ask please. She yelled at me for like 30 minutes, her voice is louder than an amplifier on blast, imagine how deaf i probably am right now. She was like "just dont go to school!" Okay , i was home WITH HER all summer, not going ANYWHERE. Taking care of her and in return, i get nothing.
She makes me wanna kill myself sometimes its so ugh! I cut and she asks like she cares, i say its from the dog. What do i do ? I will go to school unprepared. Or not even go to school at all. WITCH. I dont know what to do, what would you do ?
