Yesterday I was at the mall and used the massage chair for about 30 minutes. I was fine until about 15 minutes after leaving the chair. At that time my whole stomach cramped up and has been shooting pains ever since. This morning it slowly starting to fade until my morning sickness kicked in, now ithe cramps and shooting pain are back again. What I wanted to know is this normal? Has this ever happend to anyone else? Hs anyone else heard of massage chairs being bad for unborn babies?
I now know that I can’t use them during pregnancy, but I was wondering if anyone else found this to be true? If not, I was thinking that their might be something more that is wrong with me.

I’m getting a swedish massage tomorrow and i was wondering if there is anything done while you are lying on your back? I’m self conscious about my stomach and really don’t want it exposed.

I have a skinny stomach and actually really like most of y body but I have big hips and thick legs and that makes me have cellulite. If i work out i loose weight from my stomach but not from my legs and hips. What can I do too loose my thick legs and hips and to eliminate those ugly cellulite.

i am going for a body massage. the place i am going to does hot stones. do they typically do stones just on your back or legs, chest, stomach, etc.? i was also wondering how the procedure works exactly – stones just sit on you? or are they used for the actual massaging? and are you much less covered during the procedure?

I am wondering if anyone has had any trouble with this I think just from researching this is my problem. Can anyone give me their symptoms and how they either got it fixed or do you just deal with it.
My symptoms:
*Can only sleep on my right side at night with a pillow between my knees and one propping up my chest in fetal position. This is the most comfortable way but not pain free. If I sleep any other way I will be so stiff when I wake up it is almost impossible to get out of be very painful almost to the point of tears.
*Pain down buttocks on right side and through thigh. Kinda like sciatic nerve pain hurts to walk may last for a minute or hours.
*Pain in mid and lower back daily but mostly just annoying not really bad painful. Most of the time feels like stiffness.
*Sometimes alot of lower abdominal soreness.
*Pain and stiffness at very lower back right above the buttocks but on either side of the spine not on the spine.
*Cannot lie on the floor on my back or stomach too painful. If I try I have to try to pull myself up on something to get up.
I am not obese or overweight. 5"7 157lbs. No accidents or injuries to my back this has gradually gotten worse over the years I need to see a doctor I agree but if I can fix it at home that would be great. Also, it has not gotten to the point that it stops me from doing things.
Almost forgot my hips also get sore and stiff as well.

When I lay on my stomach with my forearms on my bed, after about 10 or sometimes 20 minutes, my shoulder blades feel like they’re burning. An acing pain, sort of. It hurts, but once I flip over for a while it will stop, but hurt even worse. Idk what might have caused this, but I’ve had it since I could ever remember. Any suggestions on what it might be?

I was lying on my stomach propped up on my elbows reading a book and it seems ever since my shoulder is in pretty bad shape. I cannot lift it without a great deal of pain but it is not swollen or bruised. Any ideas what I might have done?

So..what’s a full body massage like? Like what do they do? Do you lie on your stomach the whole time or do you have to lie on your stomach too because I’m afraid of getting an erection during the massage and having it stick straight up during it. Also, are they sexual..because somebody told me they might give handjobs.

I’m not talking vulgar, intentional groping of oneself or anything, I’m talking about innocently laying there and just so happening to get an erection. I’m assuming for the most part it means the massage feels good. I rarely get a massage and not get one. I have large muscular legs that touch at the thigh so one therapist needed to part my legs…she ran her hand from the lower part of my thigh to the top accidentally touching my privates once while I was on my stomach and once when I’d turned on my back and as a result I had a pretty visible erection for the entire leg massage. I was a little embarassed but she apologized and even asked me if I needed a moment.

I had an intense day on a slip and slide. I’m way too big for ours, and since it’s on a hill I kept flying off the end and hitting the ground, landing on my shoulder and scratching my arms, stomach, and legs up. I’ve taken an ibuprofen and have an ice pack on my sore shoulder, but I can barely move it. What can I do to ease the pain of the scratches and help my shoulder? I have to go to school tomorrow, it’s my last week before summer vacation.

I have tried Physio and heat, pain killers, muscle relaxants. I do have a habit of sleeping on my stomach that doesn’t help and my work is very physical. What works for you?
I would stop sleeping on my stomach btw but I get into that position when I am asleep.
