I been having severe shoulder pain and I’m suppose to get my period but, it hasn’t come. I been stress so maybe that’s why its delayed but, I been having shoulder pain for 7 days. Could it be because I’ve been stress or is it something else. Usually when I’m stress I get my period early or just a few days late. I never experience this before.

Hi All,
Whenever i go for massage, i usually get a buttcrack massage where the masseuse massages inbetween my ass cheeks, and all over my ass very thoroughly its feel very therapeutic and extremely relaxing, takes away all the stress.
I wanted to know, is this type of massage ok? It is very relaxing and puts me to sleep Because i go to a legitimate spa.

My wife was prescribed high doses of Hydrocodone over a period of three years, due to multiple back surgeries. Now it seems as the pain management doctors are asking her to just stop her meds and deal with the detox. She is also a heart patient and can’t take normal stress related symtoms as others may be able to endure.

I have had some intermittent neck and back pain for a year or so, but recently (2-3 days ago) started to have tingling radiating from my shoulder blades down my arms. Started with one arm and now both. I’m really scared it’s something serious but my DH thinks it’s probably just a combination of some kind of strain and terrible stress and tension from work.

i just bought a Homedics shiatsu massage cushion and had a 30 minute session with heat, vibrating focusing ont he lower back. i’ve had intense lower back pain due to stress and knotted muscles in the lower back for 3 years now and i’m only 20 years old.
it’s been about an hour since my session and now I am sitting at work and the pain is outrageous and it is killing me. the pain is way more than what I normally experience. I once heard that shiatsu is supposed to hurt more immediately following the session but I cannot find any back up info. on this on the Internet and was wondering if others from yahooanswers could help me explain why I am feeling this pain.

I hold stress in my neck and shoulders and then my neck starts really hurting and i’m constantly trying to pop it. It feels like the back of my head and neck are burning and it’s a constant. Is there anything i can do short of going to the chiropractor?

I am a pretty serious junior player and I play almost every day. But my elbow is bugging me a lot and I know it is my forehand that is causing the stress. One coach said I kind of slap at the ball and dont go low to high to create topsin, also I use to much arm and not enough body yet I tried that and it still seemed to hurt to today.

I’m not sick or anything, but I am in pain.
I’ll help you understand what I’m saying, maybe you can help more that way.
I’m a 15 year old girl. I endure a lot of complex and strenuous body movements for an upcoming musical I’m in, which I train for each day after school untill 5:30. I’m dancing for about 3 hours every day of the school week and and hour and a half of weight training each school day. I just relocated into a new bed, a hard and uncomfortable bed. I have a slight case of insomnia, so I dont sleep well, not to mention my killer sunburn from flag core clinics after school, which are from 5:30-6:30. I also carry a lot of stress, so that adds to the pain. I’m mentally and physically drained…what do I do?
I’m not quitting any of the things I do after and during school, just so you all may know that. I know I have a little much on my plate, but thats just how I tick. I’m just asking for some help mamging my pain and discomfort. Please?

I have noticed that my shoulder hurts and cracks a little near the ball/joint…It hurts to move it in a circle and to hold my arm out in front of me, tighten the muscles and move my arm. It particularly hurts to use the lever for my automatic car! I think this could be driving-related, but I’m not sure. I used the computer a lot, but I don’t think that the stress has caused it. I also don’t think that working out has caused it, either. This is only my right shoulder and not my left. I am right handed…
Any suggestions on how to treat it or what my condition is?
I don’t know–I sit up unusally straight all of the time and watch my posture carefully. My shoulders seem even and my ears are above them. There is nothing really abnormal about my posture at all. My computer usage has increased a little but I have not been doing anything unusual as of late…

My friend and I are planning a Chicago Girls’ Getaway Weekend in October. The plan is to have a relaxing stress free weekend of spa treatments, shopping and mostly fun without the husband and/or kids. Can anyone offer suggestions on hotels, spas, restaurants, shopping and entertainment? Thank you!!!

I am someone who likes getting therapeutic deep tissue massage (not body rub/erotic) once in a while. so, i can say that i am living a regular life. right. I recently read about herpes and how it is possible to contract the virus through skin contact even though the infected may not necessarily display any obvious symptoms. given the prevalence of herpes this got me worried about the risks involved in receiving service from a masseuse who ‘may’ be infected. am i being paranoid or is it reasonable? i love massages but can’t enjoy it if I am constantly under stress.
Also what other diseases could possibly spread from such encounters.

I have gone to this massage therapist now for four weeks and it seems like the pain in my back is actually getting worse. I have had for a couple of years now a gnawing, deep aching pain in my shoulder blade (probably from stress/carrying school books on my right side for so many years). She says there are no knots in my back and calls them "tight muscles". Anyway, since I have gone to see her, they hurt so much more! Even my lower back, where I never had pain, was aching so bad a few days after she did some really deep work on it. Is this normal? If so, when would I expect this pain to subside and feel results?
