Can I fix my torn ligament/tendon after a long time?

Hello everyone. I hurt myself on a motorcycle about 4 years ago but didn’t go to a doctor because I had no insurance and it didn’t hurt much. However, lately it hurts me a little, especially after benching in the gym. It is very bearable but annoying. When I tense my muscle it feels like something in my shoulder is jumping into place. Is it possible to fix whatever is torn? If its either ligament or tendon?
Thanks in advance.

I want to have a degree in both in case one falls through. I know they arent related majors but i was wondering if i could kill two birds with one stone. I need good serious advice please, thanks in advance!
Btw, Massage Therapy is an actual major in college. Matter of fact, University of Miami offers degrees in both.

Does Accupressure for Nausea really work?

I remember reading somewhere that accupressure can help with Nausea. The article said that if you press on the webbing between your pointer finger and thumb, and hold it for one minute, it helps with nausea. Does it really help? Thanks in advance!

Where can I get a Mud Bath in Arizona?

I am traveling to Flagstaff next week, and I’ve been searching all over and can’t seem to find a spa that offers mud baths (not mud wraps, but the actual bath).. does anyone know of any places in either Sedona, and/or the cities surrounding Arizona that offers a mud bath treatment? Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve incorporated more exercise and a better diet into my regime, but I still have cellulite on my thighs.

What are the best cellulite products currently on the market? I don’t want to do any expensive laser treatments.

Thanks in advance.

How often should I be massaging my scalp?

I heard massaging the scalp helps hair growth, so I was wondering how often should I massage it and when I do how long should I do it for? Thanks in advance!

I’m a 23 year old male. For at least 2 maybe even 3 years I’ve had a small lump in my neck muscle just below the cranium. I’ve had it checked out by two different doctors who just think its tension in the muscle, because its mobile and goes away when i tense my muscle. Anyway, now near the same area, right behind my ear, I get a dull burning sensation that comes and goes every few minutes for the past few days. Anyone know how to relieve this? Thanks in advance.

I’ve had tennis elbow for some time now from military training. I’m out of the service now, and have rested my bicep for 8-10 weeks doing physical therapy and all the necessary things, but it’s still just as bad. Please do not recommend medical treatments (i.e. cortisone or resting). My question is if anyone knows of bicep/shoulder workouts that do not put too much strain on my elbows. Curls seem to only worsen them, and shoulder press is out of the question. Any WORKOUT ideas will be greatly appreciated, as not being able to lift weights and only doing cardio has caused me to lose nearly all of my hard earned muscle mass. Thanks in advance.
Correction: I’ve rested my elbows, not just biceps.

What should I name my business?

I make therapeutic hot/cold rice packs and I just got a contract with a Massage Boutique to put my packs in the store. I need to come up with a name of some sort. Any ideas? They are hot/cold rice filled packs (scented with lavender or peppermint). Thanks in advance! :)

Muscle pains in back and legs. Need a good advise.?

Hello, I have been having trouble with my back for 3 years. It started because of heavy sitting and traveling. Initially I had lower back pain. I took chiropractic and physical therapy about 1 and half year back. Then the lower back pain reduced. But suddenly it started in the upper back very severely. Don’t what happened. That chiropractor used to press in my upper back. I was thinking that might be the reason. But what ever the reason it may be, all of sudden my upper back became very stiff and started paining. It also spread to legs. When I am sitting, the muscles around the knee pain a lot. Sometimes I get headache when I am sitting a lot. Someone please suggest me which treatment, specialist should I see. Thanks in advance.

The pain starts as a warm dull ache, and within 2 min. I am flat on my back trying to breathe through 10-30 min. of hell. The muscles in my back feel like they contract and "lock-up." I have similar involuntary muscle contractions in other large muscles. I went to the E.R. because muscles in my neck would not relax; my head was pulled onto my right shoulder as a result. It took an intramuscular, and two oral, valium to relax the muscle. If I flex/curl my feet too far, or too hard, they start to contract painfully beyond a natural range of motion. Same for forearms, hands, and even my mouth. I never know what, when, or where it will happen. I have tried taking Ca, K, Mg. Nothing seems to stop it. I am only 22, but have had these symptoms since age 15 or 16. I am a male, 75” tall, I weigh 185 lbs., I am athletic, and I almost never get sick. I would greatly appreciate any ideas/feedback. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Questions about becoming a massage therapist?

I’m 16 and a Junior in high school. I’ve decided I want to be a massage therapist when I get older. How long do I have to go to college for, is it hard to learn all the stuff and become one and how much do massage therapists get paid? Thanks in advance. :)

Massage parlor recommendations?

I’m trying to get a massage gift certificate for my friend, who knows I’m interested in her. Could you suggest a good massage parlor in SD? How much does a stress-relieving massage generally cost there?

Thanks in advance.
Umm, I’m not looking for a sexual massage, obviously. I did say I was interested in her. I mean something like a deep tissue massage, surely that isn’t illegal?

Colon hydrotherapy?

What are your experiences? What are the negitives and the postives?
Is it better just to cleanse?
Do you have to fast? or do a detox cleanse can you talk me through the process? I really appreciate all experienced answers. Thanks in advance.

What are some good stretches for splits?

My left splits are almost to the gound, but my right splits are 3-4 inches off the ground.I hold my stretches about 30 seconds each so it takes about 15, maybe 20 minutes, but i havent seen any improvement. Thanks in advance!
My left leg has always been more flexible then my right, if that helps.
