There’s a tingling sensation in my pinky finger and elbow. Not pain, just a wierd sensation. Does this require surgery? Or is there something else I can do to relieve the feeling?

it just happened yesterday. it happened be for but stopped for a while. i felt this tingling sensation in my shoulder then it began to hurt. i don’t think im having a heart attack cause the shoulder pain doesn’t move up to my jaw or to my chest. what is it? is it a sign of a future heart Attack?

my neck to my shoulder.I am having problems lifting my arm in a gravity plane,due to the heaviest of my arm.the pain feels deep and throbbing and never eases off.Heat does not help it! I am having symptom’s of weakness with tingling sensation.

I’m 22 and since about a year ago, I’ve been having lower back pain that’s been getting worst. I don’t do sports and there was no injury to the area. It comes and goes but it’s causing me more pain now and the pain is also in my legs. The pain is worst when I lie down at night and its a sharp pain radiating to a dull pain. The leg pain feels like nerve pain and it’s been making my legs very weak and I have trouble walking at times. I also get this weird tingling sensation in my lower body and it makes my legs weak and knees buckle. I’ve been to several doctors and they told me it was muscle pain at first, told me to exercise, and gave me anti-inflammatory meds. None of that worked, and they are having xrays dones and my CT scan is schedule for monday. I’m pretty nervous, and the doctory said she does not know what it is without the test results and does not know what the problem could be. Anyone have similar experiences and can tell me what it was or any ideas what it could be?
Will CT scans always be helpful to find out problems relating to my back pain? Seems like some of you think that I should not be getting a CT scan. What is the worst possible problem that could be causing my pain? I just want to be prepared. I don’t do any lifting or heavy exercise, so the slipped disc thing seems weird… Does it just happen?

I think I have a pinched nerve in my toe. I believe it has gradually gotten worse for a year now. It does not matter what type of shoe I wear my toe goes numb and if I don’t take the shoe of and let my toe "breath" the numbness turns into this tingling sensation and then pain. I have not been to the doctor yet, but have heard that a shot of cortizon should do it. Is that true? Is there anything I can do without having to go to the doctor?

There is a certain spot on my ankle (just offset from the centre of the bone) that when touched sends a tingling sensation to the outside top portion of my foot. For example when I cross my legs I can really feel it. If pressure is put on it long enough it also starts to hurt. What is this? A pinched nerve? How can I treat it?

Today I was sitting at my computer and I had to sneeze, so I instantly jerked my head to the side, and I felt a painful snapping in my neck accompanied with a burning/tingling sensation on the right side of my head. The burning went away after about 10 seconds, but the neck pain is still active. It feels like I might have pulled a muscle but I’m not sure. I can feel the pain in my neck mostly when I turn my head to the left . What could this be?

I have been having on and off problems with a burning, stinging, tingling sensation on my right side that goes from my lower right side into my butt and down my leg. It mainly hurts at night or when I play rugby and am running fast and making sudden moves. I am going to stop seeing chiropractor and ride my stationary bike, do core training, stretch and ice. Does this sound like a pinched nerve and why does it hurt at night? how about my treatment?

Hi there. I hope someone can help. My husband woke up a couple of nights ago in agony. He’s trapped a nerve or a muscle in his back near to his shoulder blade. I personally think that it’s a nerve because he’s experiencing a numbness and tingling sensation down his arm. I’ve been giving him Nuerofen and massaging him with Tiger Balm. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it quickly? Thanks
