I’m currently getting my certification in Dade County for to sensual massage, but have been noticing how ladies are into the yoga now too. If I came to your classes, would you mind me talking to you and getting to know you and then maybe getting a drink at Mr. Lucky’s afterwards?

I’m a Caucasian male in my late 20s and I’m looking for a new career/ chance to meet women.
I figure that my best shot(since I am admittedly a bit late in the game) to meet a beautiful woman and rewarding career would be in massage therapy or instructing Yoga(or possibly Tai Chi).
Which would you choose in this somewhat pathetic hypothetical situation to kill 2 ‘birds’ with one stone (Women are known affectionately as Birds in Great Britain)?

What areas of the body does the Sciatic nerve affect when pinched?
My mom has been having pain for two to three days from her lower back down to her ankles. She went to the Chiro. and that seemed to help some but then the pain came back intensified two days after.
I also have another question.
Would doing yoga help stretch the Sciatic nerve and relieve tension causing pain?
Thanks! ~A

Can someone recommend some basic stretches and/or yoga poses to correct posture? My neck leans forward and my shoulders round forward (very badly) from 15 years of working in an office, staring at a computer screen. It has really caused my upper body to round forward badly.

Yoga and Qigong are both extremely popular exercises from the East originally used in the alternative health community that rapidly have begun to spread into the mainstream. Although they appear to be radically different, what similarities do they have in your opinion? I know they both work with your energy, and are extremely good for both the body and the mind; so there should be some very nice core similarities.

I believe that yoga and taichi are good for clearing out and decongesting the body in general, but are there some specific exercises or stretches that will work more immediately to help clear the inner ears or eustachian tubes?
Put it this way: say you have clogged inner ears and doctors haven’t been able to help much… what do you do?

Hi There!
Recently I noticed that the muscles on the back below my left shoulder blade feel loose. During movement they feel like a wet t-shirt dragging across the back (maybe getting loose from connective tissue?). I have no pain, no restrictions. I am practicing a lot of yoga, so maybe it might be only I am loosening up.
This is the first time anything like this happened, so I am a little bit concerned.
Thanks for all your help and advice,
Sebastian

I have been a massage therapist for about a year now and have gotten fairly busy since about May. Over the past few months I’ve noticed a lot of cracking in my joints (mainly my shoulders and hips), most often while giving massages to my clients. I try to use good body mechanics… Could this be diet related perhaps? Do I need to do yoga or something? Or is it the beginning of arthritis? It makes me nervous and I feel bad for my clients because they are forced to listen to my gross cracking!

I have taken several different meds, PT, hydrotherapy (cold and heat), chiropractic services, massage, yoga and other such stretch exercises. Several x-rays were normal, MRI showed some bulging disc in the lower back but nothing else out of the ordinary. I still have chronic pain along the left scapula and for the past few months I now have pain of the left shoulder and up the left side of the neck. I need pain relief, any suggestions?

I have kyphosis (Curved spine) and I have a desk job where I am sitting 8 hours a day.
What are some good yoga stretches I can do to prevent my low back, butt, hamstrings and hip flexors from getting so ungodly tight?
Thanks

Well im a big believer in feng shui and yoga and all that, but most people recommend like green tea or jasmine tea for relaxation, and i cant stand tea, it makes me sick.. so does anyone know any good drinks/juices that help calm nerves and keep you relaxed? I’m not much of an alcohol drinker either.

Yesterday I try to do some Yoga exercises ,I tried the back bends the bridge exercise and I think I pushed my back so hard and today I’m feeling pain in my ribcage and back muscles when I’m trying to move can it be something dangerous especially when there is pain in my ribcage or it may be a simple muscle pain.
